Gearmotors and components for Elmeco 1st Class are not interchangeable with any brand. gearmotors. When ordering gearmotor components,  specify the model & the position of the gear (use diagram position number shown below), the manufacturer of the gearmotor (Kenta or Elco) and model of the machine in which the gearmotor is installed.

The Elmeco offices in USA are as inefficient as they are un-responsive. Our repeated efforts have been in vain. We are unable to maintain constant supply of parts for which we apologise our customers.

The main distinction between Kenta gears and Elco gears is that Kenta gears have no shaft pin or bearings. The shaft pins are built into the gear box casing. The Elco gears have a shaft pin in each gear and there are bearings pressed on either side of the gear. It is recommended that Kenta 1st and 2nd gears are replaced as a pair.
